I sit down with a young ambitious black man – Johnoi Josephs. Despite only being in his third year of teaching, Johnoi has progressed to become Head of Year. Additionally, he is co-founder of a CIC organisation Black Men Teach.
Johnoi loves his job as he gets to make as much impact as possible and as he says each day brings something new.
Working tirelessly to raise the profile of black male teachers through Black Men Teach, Johnoi lives in his purpose demonstrating why black males are significant in the classroom whilst amplifying the voices of black male teachers.
Johnoi believes in teaching beyond the curriculum with a purpose of ensuring young people rise into their greatness. He waves the flag of positivity for being ambitious.
